The TMARS Christmas fundraiser wrapped up on December 3 and and was once again, a big success. We netted close to $12,500 from the auction, 50/50 raffle and donations. Thanks to everyone who donated, bid and bought raffle tickets to support TMARS.
Since our inception in 2020, we have rescued over 350 animals and have placed them in the loving homes they deserve. This year, we were honoured to receive the Fernie Chamber of Commerce Award for the Community Group of the Year! We are very proud to be recognized by our community for the work we do.
100% of funds raised from the 50/50 raffle and online auction will go toward vetting our many cats and dogs that find themselves in our care… and trust us, there have been A LOT of emergencies this year! Vet fees are our biggest expense – from surgeries (big and small), to sending animals to specialists for tests, and helping animals heal from abusive injuries.
